Recreation Coordinator
Seeking a full-time candidate for a Recreation Coordinator with the City of Gretna. The Recreation Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring field/court maintenance, the safety of participants, scheduling of officials, successful day-to-day operations of recreational programs, and promotion of the outdoor recreational activities. Duties also include general park maintenance, lawn care, light janitorial, and up-keep of recreational sites.
Qualifications
- Experience in coordinating recreational programs required
- Previous field/court maintenance skills required
- Supervisory Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- CPR and First Aid certification within 1 year of employment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Louisiana Driver’s License
- Ability to pass background check and drug test
