CITY OF GRETNA
GARBAGE AND STORM DEBRIS COLLECTION
Our garbage contractor – Waste Connections will begin collecting regular garbage, as well as storm debris on Monday, November 2. To help manage the large amount of storm debris to be collected, through Friday, 11/13/2020, they will have additional trucks on the streets.
Please note your regular garbage collection schedule will remain the same. Additionally, they will also be collecting storm debris on each route. After 11/13/2020 normal debris pickup restrictions will resume.
This does NOT include normal bulk items and white goods such as refrigerators. As normal, these items will be picked up on your second garbage collection day.
As always, if you have questions or need to conduct any City business, our hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm. All departments can also be reached by phone at (504) 363-1500 or by visiting our website – www.gretnala.com.
