Gretna City Park Progress Meeting July 15

Please join the City of Gretna for an update on progress related to improvements scheduled for Gretna City Park on Wednesday July, 15 from 5pm to 8pm at the Mel Ott Multipurpose Center. 

The meeting format will accommodate social distancing best practices – citizens will be able to comment at different stations present the current design at their own pace, in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining an appropriate distance.  If needed, attendance will be staggered.  Face masks will be required for all attendees. 

We are moving through the design process quickly and are on track to start construction in early 2021.  The project is supported by approximately $5 million from HUD and the Louisiana Office of Community Development to support park improvements, ecological restoration and enhanced flood mitigation.
